Made with Lokta Paper and Beaded-Wrap Closures

Pocket-sized, handbound journals, each one original and in limited quantities.
These handmade journals are octavo-sized, a traditional book size of 8 leaves and 16 total pages, running approximately 2”x3”. The interior pages are made of lokta paper, an artisan paper indigenous to Nepal, with vellum endpapers. The covers are heavy cardstock with individually applied esoteric embellishments and brushed with acid-free sealant. The binding is hand-sewn with waxed thread, with a beaded bookmark and a beaded wraparound tie.
As each book is made individually and by hand, no two are alike. I typically sell these journals for $7 each, random selection; contact me if interested in a larger number and/or a shipping estimate.
