Looking for my ongoing documentation of the experimental archaeology I’m doing with household goods and cosmetics recipes from the 1480s-1710s? Go to the Experimental Archaeology article collection.
Looking for where I make the excess results of my experiments– plus anything else my folklorist/gremlin/fiction writer’s heart desires– available for purchase? BEHOLD:
The Historically Inaccurate Shop

The Historically Inaccurate Shop – Homemade, Small-Batch Historical Household Goods, with all the poisons and body parts removed, making it safely historically inaccurate.
One of my hobbies is experimental archaeology; specifically, I have much too much fun researching and recreating household goods and cosmetics from the Western Scientific Revolution. I usually sell the results at local art fairs and markets, but some are also available through The Historically Inaccurate Shop, or you can read my research and history of experiments in the Experimental Archaeology section (originally sprinkled as “articles” through The Minor Hours and Small Thoughts Magazine, a semi-regular blog written in the style of an 18th-century lady’s publication that mixes essays on modern life, personal narratives, humor, and documentation of my apothecarial work and research).
Historically Inaccurate Press

Historically Inaccurate Press – Books, Printables, and Digital Content of the interesting, historical, and practical variety, many written or edited by the modern researcher of apothecary, M. Hinaccurate.
I’ve spent decades in publishing, and a large chunk of that time was as a Production Editor– someone who manages the process of creating books. When I started helping re-release my parents’ backlist of science fiction and fantasy fiction after my mother’s passing, I realized there was a lot I could do with self-publishing, including essay collections, workbooks, annotated historical works, minizines, and more. It’s a young press so far, but the Historically Inaccurate Press homes both hardcopy and digital POD works, and the handmade minibooks I make and sell through The Historically Inaccurate Shop.
Historically Inaccurate Designs

Historically Inaccurate Designs – Home, Office, Accessories, and Collectibles of the fun, historical, and pop culture variety, the majority available through immediate print-on-demand.
I mostly write, but sometimes the art-and-design bug catches me, and several years ago I got interested in what was possible through print-on-demand. The designs appear on a variety of stuffs, and tend to reflect my interests: cryptids; public domain art and text; chaos queerdom; terrible jokes; and more. While I have accounts on different POD sites, Historically Inaccurate Designs homes all the designs together and provides links from there to the sites themselves.
