Entering an Apothecary’s Dream

A unique look into one interactive-media student’s efforts to create something meaningful for a polytechnic audience, Entering an Apothecary’s Dream: The Making of an Arts & Sciences Installation is the culminating exhibition book documenting my MFA capstone art/experience installation An Apothecary Dreams: an interactive time capsule inventing science past, present, and beyond.

The installation, only open for three days in October of 2025, was a multisensory, dream-like collage of the past and present as seen through my practice-led research into reconstructing household apothecary recipes from the Early Modern period. Now, in this slim 11.5″x8″ color publication, I provide a creator-led tour of An Apothecary Dreams using art and photographs to illustrate the intimate, behind-the-scenes narrative of my inspirations, creative processes, observations, and final thoughts for the future.
